A photojournalist for more years than she cares to remember, Shirley has been a member of the DAGS Group from the very first meeting. Shirley’s love of the Australian Outback has seen her pitching a tent with husband, Barry for months at a time in some of the most remote areas of the continent.

The vibrant colours of the Kimberley, the Pilbara and the Outback Deserts are part of a huge collection of images, which have been featured in travel and photography magazines for many years. Shirley has also produced a collection of art prints emphasizing the unique colours and character of the landscape.

Though officially retired, Shirley still contributes regularly to magazines and calendars. This is a small portfolio of Shirley’s work.
