About Maiva

Photographically and physically Maiva is no slouch in keeping up with husband Mike, she just refuses to look after the barbeque. Together they have taken their cameras to some of Australia's and New Zealand's wildest destinations and are now exploring the world's exotic places. Maiva's love of photography began during an overland trip from Singapore to London in 1975. In particular she loves to look through a macro lens at the world in close up or through a wide-angle lens at the world at large. Moving from film-based photography to digital has been an easy and enjoyable experience for her and she feels that her photographic oyster has just begun to open.
