Karen can't imagine life without a camera. From a little kid to a big kid, photographing everything around her has simply been a part of the process of growing up. As a Visual Arts teacher for the past #**# years, photography has remained an important part of Karen's everyday life. However, her photography took an important change of direction in 1987 when she spent six weeks in the Australian outback with a group of fellow photographers. She has not been the same since.
