About this Site

A small bunch of photographers sharing a common love of photography and the Australian Outback drifted together a few years ago and formed the Digital Artistry Group.  It was really just an excuse to get together regularly, enjoy each other's company and, inspired by the odd glass of red, exchange ideas and techniques involved with digital imagery.

The realisation that collectively the group had an enormous library of images from every corner of Australia led to the idea for a web site through which they could share those images with others.  The late Ron Pearsall was the inspiration and driving force behind the publication of the first Australian Landscapes web site in May 2001. Sadly, Ron died shortly after the launch and so this site also pays tribute to Ron and his outstanding photographic skills by presenting a special page of his work.
